1 is critically injured whereas capturing aurora

AURORA, Colorado – The Aurora Police Department (APD) is investigating a Friday night shooting that seriously injured one person.

APD tweeted just before 10:30 p.m. that officials were investigating a shooting in the 900 block on South Salem Street. It’s located near the Pacific Ocean Marketplace on East Mississippi Avenue and South Peoria Street.

APD said the victim, a man, was taken to a local hospital.

The shooter is still at large, APD said.
