AURORA, Colorado – The Aurora Police Department (APD) is investigating two shootings that occurred less than two hours apart on Saturday night.
APD tweeted that the first shooting occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the 1300 block on North Troy Street. A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, APD said.
No suspicious information is available, APD says, and officials are working to determine what led to it.
The second shooting occurred near East Colfax Avenue and Havana Street at 7:25 p.m., according to the APD. A man has been rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive, APD said.

No suspicious information was released about this incident either.
APD said Havana Street was closed in both directions south of East Colfax Avenue and urged the public to avoid the area.
An APD spokesman said there was no information that the two incidents were related.
