However, Nameberry, a baby name resource, also gathers tons of information on the monikers that are trending both in the US and around the world. The website shared some of its findings when it comes to the favorite names of its readers around the world, highlighting 25 countries each listing the five most popular names for boys and girls.

Based on this data, it looks like Luna and Arlo both have a moment in the sun in 2021. Of the countries that don’t rank Luna as the most popular number one, it still appears on the top five List for China, Finland, New Zealand, South Africa and Spain. And for the boys, even though Arlo wasn’t the top, those countries saw the name make the top 5 list: China, Israel, and the United States.
