Attic Fire in Aurora displaces 4 adults, 4 dogs

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) – Aurora Fire Rescue received a call about a fire in the attic at around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The house was a two story building on the 134000 block of East Fitzsimons Way in Aurora.

The crews opened the blankets and fought the fire with water. One person was removed from the building.

After the building was vacated, the crews fought the fire until it was under control.

Four people and four dogs have been evicted from their home and are supported by the Red Cross.

No injuries have been reported and the fire is still being investigated.
