Aurora COVID-19 Survivor Celebrates $ 100,000 Lotto Max WIn

Felicia Guarrasi plans to take her family on a “nice trip” when it is safe to travel again

Saying Encore paid off for Aurora’s Felicia Guarrasi. She matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the Lotto Max drawing of March 23, 2021 in exact order to win $ 100,000!

Felicia, mother and grandmother, says she plays the lottery regularly. “I love playing lottery games and I always play encore!”

Felicia checked her ticket with the OLG Lottery app. “I saw $ 100,000 and took a screenshot of the profit to send to my husband,” said the 55-year-old. “He was so excited!”

Felicia has won some minor lottery prizes in the past, but this win is special because she is a COVID survivor. The virus sent her to the hospital in January.

“This victory is so humble. I feel so blessed!”

Felicia plans to share her victory with her family. “I’ll set aside some money for a nice trip when it’s safe to travel again,” she smiled.

Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an additional fee of $ 1. There is an encore draw every day.

In accordance with government lockdown measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, OLG is currently limiting the number of face-to-face appointments for award claims at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto to those that require a face-to-face interview. Customers with prices above $ 50,000 are encouraged to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss the options available for price claims. Prize claims up to $ 49,999.90 should still be mailed. The health and safety of our customers and employees remains our number one priority, and OLG looks forward to providing future updates on the availability of personal pricing claims.

The winning ticket was purchased from Longo on Wellington Street in Aurora.
