Aurora dazzles over Alberta’s Dalemead Lake

A man in Calgary, Alberta captured the aurora borealis on April 16, which shimmers in shades of green.

Cee Pham, who recorded this time-lapse footage, told Storyful that the video was recorded on Dalemead Lake.

“Living in Alberta, Canada means you are in an area of high latitude, so you have many chances of seeing the northern lights,” Pham said.

Pham told Storyful that the lights were on between 4 p.m. on April 16 and 4 a.m. the next morning. Photo credit: Cee Pham via Storyful
