The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified a 53-year-old Aurora woman who was killed in a two-vehicle accident on the south side of Chicago late Wednesday.

Chicago police said Anna Zendejo was one of five passengers in a Lincoln Aviator spinning south on Pulaski Road just before 9:30 p.m. when it bumped into a Ford Explorer heading north from the lanes Pulaski turned left on 85th Street.

Zendejo was taken to a nearby hospital where police said she eventually died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The 86-year-old Ford driver was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the doctor’s office, he has not been identified.

The unidentified 25-year-old driver of the Lincoln received several quotes, police said. She was taken to a nearby hospital because of the injuries sustained in the crash.

Of the other passengers at the Lincoln, police said a 6-year-old boy had been taken to Como Children’s Hospital for minor injuries. Three other men, ages 32, 20, and 19, were also taken to nearby hospitals. Police said the 20-year-old suffered a broken arm while the other two sustained minor injuries.
