June 3 – MOUNT VERNON, Mo. – A 40-year-old man from Aurora was tried Wednesday for attacking his brother with his fists and an aluminum crutch.
Associate Justice Scott Sifferman, at the end of a preliminary hearing in Lawrence County Circuit Court, ruled that Justin T. Crouch likely had a reason to stand trial for first degree domestic assault.
Crouch is accused of attacking his brother Michael Crouch on September 22nd, slapping him in the face and the back of the head, before crutching him multiple times, according to an affidavit.
The judge fixed the defendant’s first appearance in a trial section of the court for June 14th.
