Aurora Mobile works with the Social Errands Platform UU Paotui to jointly promote the development of sharing economy platforms Nasdaq: JG

SHENZHEN, China, April 27, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Aurora Mobile Limited (NASDAQ: JG) (“Aurora Mobile” or the “Company”), a leading mobile developer service provider in China, today announced that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Zhengzhou Space-Time Tunnel Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“UU Paotui”). Aurora Mobile will use its AI-powered Unification Messages System (“JG UMS”) to assist UU Paotui in performing intelligent operations and intelligent user reach.

UU Paotui is an online shopping and delivery platform for consumers in China. The company is optimizing its intelligent analytics platform and benefiting from a rapidly growing workforce in the gig economy industry to provide users with a variety of convenient services such as pick-up and delivery for purchases and other errands around the clock. With over 3.2 million task workers, UU Paotui provides services to more than 50 million users and 1 million merchants in over 230 cities across the country. After six years of iteration and product development, UU Paotui’s innovative service models have become the industry standard. The average number of orders per platform executed by each task worker per trip remains number 1, making UU Paotui China’s leading intra-city on-demand delivery service provider.

In recent years, the Chinese government has taken a number of measures to support the development of the sharing economy and the platform economy. The ability to improve operational efficiency and reduce operating costs through technological innovation has become a core competency for companies in these areas. Most on-demand delivery service platforms like UU Paotui inform users of their real-time order status through traditional push notifications and short text messages. However, these methods are more costly and less flexible in terms of operational management.

Aurora Mobile’s Unification Messages System (“JG UMS”) has integrated several key messaging channels, including mobile apps, official WeChat accounts, WeChat gadgets, short message service (“SMS”), emails, Fuwu Alipay and DingTalk and enables companies to reach target groups more efficiently via an integrated messaging platform, which increases user-friendliness and lowers costs through flexible routing management. JG UMS also assists clients with advanced analytical decisions by providing multi-dimensional statistical reports that cover messaging channels, marketing channels and users, and promotes the digital upgrade of the on-demand delivery industry.

Going forward, Aurora Mobile will also assist UU Paotui in building a new ecosystem of intelligent on-demand services that will efficiently source workers, tailor worker expertise to user demand and ensure workers are adequately compensated. Through this partnership, Aurora Mobile and UU Paotui will jointly build a comprehensive value chain of on-demand services that create deeper and closer connections with consumers in the gig economy market.
