Aurora police are investigating two studies of tried little one abduction

AURORA, Colorado (KKTV) – Colorado police are investigating two cases of attempted child abduction.

Aurora Police Department shared some details about the reported incidents on Wednesday afternoon. According to police, the first attempted child abduction occurred on January 5 at around 1:30 pm near the Mission Viejo neighborhoods. In the first case, a white man wearing a black ski mask, red and black flannel shirt, and jeans tried to snatch a 10-year-old girl while she was playing outside.

The second case was reported at Mission Viejo Park on Monday. Around 6 p.m. that night, police said a bald man with a dark beard who may have had tattoos on his arms tried to catch a 12-year-old boy.

Both incidents occurred in the southeast of the city, east of Cherry Creek State Park.

Anyone who witnessed either incident is asked to call 720-913-STOP.
