Aurora Police arrest a 28-year-old woman for second degree murder

Aurora Police arrested Jacqueline De Paz for second degree murder following a shooting in the parking lot of Mariscos El Rey.

AURORA, Colorado – Aurora Police (APD) arrested a 28-year-old woman in connection with the death of an 18-year-old man after a fight in a restaurant parking lot resulted in a gunfight Tuesday night.

Jacqueline De Paz was arrested by APD during a traffic obstruction on East Colfax Avenue and North Boston Street around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The shooting took place on December 22nd in Mariscos El Rey at 10293 E. Iliff Ave, APD said. Police said the man was shot and taken to the hospital, where he later died.

De Paz is in the Aurora Detention Center and has a $ 1 million bond.
