Aurora Police arrested Jerome Deshun Johnson in January homicide case

Aurora police made an arrest on Friday in a January 22 homicide case. Jerome Deshun Johnson, 34, was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder.

According to police, officers reacted on North Beeler Street and East Colfax Avenue, where there were multiple reports of gunfire being fired. Police found an adult man in a vehicle with a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 17th judicial district is pursuing the murder case. Anyone with information on this case can call Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867), where the tips are anonymous and may receive a reward of up to $ 2,000.
