Aurora Public Schools Require COVID Vaccinations for Employees – CBS Denver

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A letter to Aurora Public Schools staff said they need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for the next school year. Superintendent D. Rico Munn says some exceptions are allowed under federal and state law.

“This action is in line with our belief that the science of COVID-19 and the
Vaccines are clear and convincing and comply with guidelines from
Federal, state and local health authorities and supports our goal of
return to personal work and study as soon as possible – and to the
as far as possible, ”Munn explained in the letter.

The school district says this requirement will require approval of one or more vaccines from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

More information about this plan is expected to be released at a later date, the district said.
