Aurora records 2 more deaths, 43 COVID-19 cases

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga –– Two people had died of COVID-19 in Aurora province, the province’s emergency response center said on Monday.

In its latest bulletin, the Aurora government said that one of the people who died from the viral disease was from the city of Dingalan while the other lived in Dipaculao.

The province recorded 43 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 1,047, of which 250 remained active.

At least 755 patients in Aurora had recovered from the disease while 42 had died.

Local health data showed that 42 of the 43 new COVID-19 patients are residents of Dingalan. The remaining new case is from Dinalungan.

The capital Baler has the highest number of cases with 325, of which 45 are still active.

Casiguran has 185 cases, Maria Aurora (147) and Dipaculao (143).

With only 14 COVID-19 cases, the northernmost city of Dilasag has the fewest number of residents who have contracted the disease. All 14 patients had recovered. INQ
