Battle for propane tanks in Aurora leads to death of 72-year-old Kevin Stymiest – CBS Denver

AURORA, Colorado. (CBS4) – Aurora Police are investigating a May 17 murder at the Flying J Travel Center at 16751 East 32nd Avenue. Kevin Stymiest, 72, had fallen back and hit his head in the parking lot.

He later died from his injuries. A police investigation found that Stymiest was arguing with an employee about the level of propane in a propane tank when the employee beat Stymiest.

Stymiest then fell backwards and suffered the fatal injury.

The employee is supposed to cooperate with detectives and his name is currently not being published.
