Battle for propane tanks in Aurora leads to the death of 72-year-old Kevin Stymiest

Aurora Police are investigating a May 17 murder at the Flying J Travel Center at 16751 East 32nd Avenue. Kevin Stymiest, 72, had fallen back and hit his head in the parking lot.

A dispute over propane resulted in the death of a 72-year-old man in Aurora. According to the police, the man was a customer at the Flying J Travel Center near I 70 on Airport Boulevard. They say he had an argument with an employee about the level of propane in a tank and the employee hit the customer. He fell, hit his head and later died. The public prosecutor decides whether or not to file a criminal complaint against this employee.
