It’s hard to believe that it has been a month since the 2021 NFL Draft and the Buffalo Bills were very excited about their class of rookies.
The Bills drew edge ruser Gregory Rousseau of Miami, FL with their first round draft pick while doubling the edge rusher position and selecting Carlos “Boogie” Basham Jr. of Wake Forest.
The Bills had their rookie OTAs not long after, along with the veterans participating in OTAs that week. However, the newcomers had to get out into town and see their new town.
In fact, Bill’s rookies visited the Bar-Bill Tavern in East Aurora last week and I’m sure they got immersed in some wings!
If you’ve been on Twitter for the last month or so, you might know that Damar Hamlin, a newbie to security, asked people where to go in Buffalo? Bar-Bill was definitely a popular choice, along with other great places like the Nine-Eleven Tavern, Gabriel’s Gate, Elmo’s, and Duffs.
The Bills even posted a video of rookies trying out Duffs’ Buffalo Wings and it’s definitely worth a look.
I would like to lead an official Buffalo Food Tour for new Bills and Sabers players. The options are limitless and there are so many great spots in Buffalo City and in the suburbs.
Wings, Beef, Sahlens Hot Dogs, Pastry Hearts, Sponge Cakes, Spaghetti Parm and so on.
