AURORA, IL – Public health officials are sending a mobile coronavirus testing unit to the Aurora East Side this weekend to bolster local testing capacity.
Anyone can be tested for the coronavirus on the mobile unit, regardless of symptoms, Kane County Health Department officials said, encouraging anyone recently exposed to a potential or confirmed case to get tested.
The people being tested are required to provide a name and phone number so that officers can reach them later with their test results. No photo ID is required.
Residents can also get tested at the state test site across from Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora and many local healthcare facilities. You can find test sites here.
