Filming near I-70 and Chambers in Aurora

A man was shot and taken to hospital with serious injuries, Aurora police said.

AURORA, Colorado. Police are asking witnesses to provide information after a man was shot dead in Aurora on Sunday night.

According to the police, the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. They had no information about a suspect in the shooting.

The shooting took place around 7.15 p.m. on East 35th Place and Helena Street, police said. It’s near Interstate 70 and Chambers Road.

Chambers Road was closed from East 33rd Place to East 38th Avenue on Sunday evening while officers were gathering evidence of the shooting. Aurora Police said there was a large presence of officials in the area.
