Aurora Downtown is presenting a monthly Food Truck Food Court as part of its events on the first Friday. They replace the annual Food Truck Festival, which has been canceled for 2021.
“Although we canceled the festival this year, grocery vendors will continue to play an important role in downtown events,” said Marissa Amoni, manager of Aurora Downtown, in a statement. “We’re excited to be able to grow First Fridays this way and offer a variety of options, including the early opening of al fresco dining in downtown restaurants.”
For the May 7th date, food trucks will be on the property adjacent to 2 S. Broadway. On the other first Fridays of the month, food trucks are parked in Water Street Square, the parking lot across from City Hall.
The first Fridays started in April of this year and the event will run until December (with the exception of July). Masks are required.
