Join shortly for the Mass Vax Aurora Clinic at Jewel – Kane County Connects on Monday March eighth
The City of Aurora and the Kane County Health Department are hosting a mass vaccination clinic at Jewel-Osco in Aurora on Monday. However, if you want to get on the list, you need to be an Aurora based resident and act fast.
The city is hosting the Mass Vax Aurora clinic on Monday for certain category residents in line with the state’s Phase 1B rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Registration will open this weekend, subject to availability.
You can get a vaccine if you reside in any of the following categories in Aurora:
- AGE: 65 years and older
- OCCUPATION: Healthcare, First Responders, Education, Food and Agriculture, Manufacturing, Corrections, U.S. Postal Services, Public Transportation Workers, Grocers, Shelters / Adult Day Care
- MEDICAL CONDITION: Diabetes, obesity, lung disease, smoking, heart disease, chronic kidney disease, cancer, immunocompromised, sickle cells, pregnancy, person with a disability
According to official information, there is limited availability of Pfizer vaccines.
The clinic is hosted by the City of Aurora in partnership with Jewel-Osco and the Kane County Health Department.
