Editor: I am very concerned about the intersection of South Sable Blvd. & E. 4th Ave. I’ve seen countless near-misses at this intersection, and with hundreds of new homes all having to use this intersection, accidents are inevitable.
Pedestrians cross Sable to get to the bus stops on the corners, in addition to all vehicle traffic crossing Sable, making left turns, U-turns, etc. – usually at high speed. I was told that Aurora has received funds from the developer for traffic lights, but that lights will not be installed until 2023 at the earliest when they decide they are needed. I wonder how many deaths it will take to get the Aurora government to respond to this dangerous, soon to be dangerous situation.
