Make a note of the appointment! June 5th Fox River Arts Ramble shows work by 85 artists From Aurora to St. Charles – Kane County Connects
On the first Saturday in June, celebrate the work of more than 85 artists in 17 locations in St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and Aurora in a joint event called the Fox River Arts Ramble.
“The public is invited to roam these communities to enjoy and experience the abundance of talent we have here in our own backyard,” said Kathryn Hill, executive director of St. Charles Arts Council. “I’m thrilled with the participation and excitement our regional artists bring to the table!”
The event will take place on Saturday, June 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at all 17 locations.
The Arts Ramble is a cooperation between the Fine Line Creative Arts Center, the St. Charles Arts Council and the Water Street Studio and was created to make artists and their studios / galleries accessible to the public.
The Fine Line Creative Arts Center and Water Street Studios host artists in outdoor tents and provide dining and entertainment. The St. Charles Arts Council will host artists at the Kava Diem Coffee Shop and host an artist reception from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The public is invited to take part. Other venues include local galleries and business offices.
