Pop up pantry to feed a whole bunch of Aurora youngsters on Saturday

AURORA, IL – Aurora families can stop by Lincoln Park Saturday morning to pick up boxes of groceries and snacks for children.

The first 200 families receive grocery boxes with products, peanut butter and jelly, muesli, applesauce, pancake mix, canned fruit, pop tarts, cheese and crackers.

The Saturday sales event will be hosted by the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry, Calvary Church in Naperville and the Fox Valley Park District.

Patch has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness of the millions of Americans who are starving. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimated that in 2020 more than 50 million Americans would not have enough nutritious foods to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. This is a social patch project. Feeding America receives 100 percent of donations. Find out how to donate in your community or find a pantry near you.
