Rescued 2 dogs from Aurora house fire

A house on the 800 block of Spring Street in Aurora was damaged by a fire in the kitchen on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Aurora Fire Department.

Firefighters rescued two dogs from the house. Nobody was injured.

The house has been classified as uninhabitable due to smoke damage. The damage is estimated at $ 150,000.

City officials and the American Red Cross supported the residents. The cause of the fire was not determined.
