The 75-year-old lady dies in a automobile accident in Aurora – The Denver Submit

A 75-year-old woman died after injuries after a car accident on Sunday in Aurora, according to Aurora police.

At 5:22 p.m., police responded to the crash near East Colfax Avenue and Clinton Street. According to the investigation, the woman was not using a crosswalk when she was hit by the black GMC Yukon. She later died in a hospital.

The woman’s identity will be released by the Adams County Coroner Office “after positive identification is obtained and her next of kin are notified,” police said.

UPDATE: Tragically, the adult pedestrian succumbed to her injuries and this is currently being investigated as a fatal traffic accident. The road remains closed, please stay out of the area. No further details at this time, a press release will be made available in the coming hours.
