The FBI suspects the same man in several bank robberies in Denver and Aurora

The FBI and local police are looking for a man suspected of robbing several banks in the Denver area.

According to the FBI, Cody Michael Giron is wanted for robbing three banks and trying to rob a fourth bank since the end of October.

The dates, times and locations of the bank robberies and attempted robbery are:

  • October 26, 2:01 p.m., Chase Bank, 1627 S. Havana St., Aurora
  • October 30, 3:25 p.m., Chase Bank, 2310 E. Colfax Ave., Denver
  • November 5, 4:05 p.m., Chase Bank, 747 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver (Trial)
  • November 6, 12:43 p.m., TCF Bank, 1710 S. Havana St., Aurora

Giron is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build. The robber wore a black hooded jacket, an orange Denver Broncos baseball cap, a black and white patterned face mask and a blue and orange Colorado hat, the FBI said in a press release. The robber puts a note in front of the cashier and escapes from the bank. No weapons were mentioned or seen.
