The video with the Aurora physique digital camera exhibits the police asking medical doctors to provide the suspect robust medicine to calm him down
AURORA – Denver7 Investigates’ newly released video of a police body camera shows an officer encouraging paramedics to sedate a suspect in order to calm him down.
It took the Aurora Police Department more than three months to release the video upon request from open recordings.
On the video with the body camera, an officer can be heard telling paramedics: “Let’s give him some juice to go to sleep.”
Minutes later, Aurora Fire’s paramedics inject the suspect with ketamine, a fast-acting sedative.
The incident occurred in March 2019 – five months before Elijah McClain died in Aurora police custody.
